Home Bug Sweeps & Privacy Checks
Your home should feel private and safe. If something feels off, we can help you get clear answers without jargon, pressure, or unnecessary extras.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, we check homes for hidden cameras, listening devices, trackers, and other unwanted surveillance. The aim is simple. Find anything that should not be there, explain it clearly, and help you feel confident in your own space again.
We service South-East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, and surrounding areas. Homes of all sizes are welcome.
What We Look For
- Hidden cameras and microphones: including devices concealed in common household items and fixtures.
- Wireless monitoring devices: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile, and other signals that should not be present.
- Tracking devices: GPS units or tags linked to vehicles, belongings, or personal items.
- Smart device risks: unsecured smart speakers, cameras, or network devices.
- Physical concealment: checks of furniture, vents, power points, smoke detectors, and similar areas.
How the Home Sweep Is Done
You are welcome to stay with us for the entire sweep. We explain what is being checked as we go, so nothing feels rushed or hidden.
The sweep starts with a careful visual inspection of rooms, fittings, and accessible areas. We then scan for wireless signals and electronics that should not be present, including devices that may be switched off.
Where needed, we check behind fixtures or within soft furnishings and use additional tools to identify concealed electronics. Any suspicious findings are explained clearly, and your options are discussed.
What to Expect
Most home sweeps are completed in a single visit, with timing depending on the size of the property and what areas need checking.
At the end of the sweep, we explain what was found, or confirm when nothing suspicious is detected. Written reports or photos can be provided on request.
