About Craig Mitchell

I’ve been working in the electronic security industry since 1998, focusing on surveillance, detection, and real-world problem solving.

My interest in electronics and surveillance started early. I built my first listening device at 11, and installed my first CCTV system at 18. That hands-on background has carried through to nearly three decades of commercial work involving cameras, tracking devices, and electronic monitoring systems.

Before moving fully into security, I also spent 10 years in the mechanical industry. That experience is particularly valuable in vehicle sweeps, where knowing how a vehicle is put together makes it easier to identify anything that doesn’t belong.

Over the years, I have worked as head trainer for one of Australia’s largest surveillance and security companies, training staff and franchisees in CCTV, technical systems, and electronic surveillance detection (bug sweeping).

I am also responsible for the selection, testing, and ongoing evaluation of TSCM equipment, ensuring the tools used are practical, reliable, and suited to real-world conditions.

Today, that experience is applied to electronic surveillance detection across homes, offices, and vehicles, helping identify hidden cameras, audio devices, and tracking equipment.

My approach is simple: thorough inspection, clear explanation, and no unnecessary alarm.

Most concerns have a logical explanation, and when something isn’t right, it needs to be properly identified and dealt with.

This is a private, independent service focused on delivering accurate results and peace of mind.
